Philips and Cree accelerate the expansion of the LED lighting market

Recently, Philips signed a cross-licensing contract with Cree, the US LED manufacturer, to accelerate the expansion of the LED lighting market.

Philips and its upstream LED component supplier Philips Lumileds develop high-power LED-related products. High-power LEDs maintain high LED efficiency under high current drive and improve LED thermal and thermal performance.
