The Stanyl LED 1551 is a material that delivers high brightness and optimum reflectivity in mobile, handheld and notebook high temperature and high humidity applications. In addition, due to the excellent thermal properties of Stanyl, it can be used in three soldering cycles up to 260 degrees and can be bonded to the silicon or epoxy used in the package. Compared to conventional PPA resins, this material can be cycled quickly to increase throughput. At the same time, its inherently high fluidity ensures that the side-view LED fills multiple chambers up to 220 lumens with minimal cycle times. The bond with the silicon wafer/epoxy resin is still excellent. These materials have the best reflectance retention in exposure to ultraviolet light having wavelengths as low as 250 nm. The current wavelength of the blue LED chip is 460nm, but the future development trend of the ultraviolet chip wavelength is 350nm.
