The world's first draft of the AC LED measurement standard is released, Taiwan wants to lead the AC LED standard

It hopes to lead ACLED international specifications and lead Taiwanese industry to take the lead in preempting global lighting market. 2009 is a key year for ACLED development. Taiyuan Jingdian has planned to launch 110V AC LED in the Taiwan market in June, aiming at domestic lighting business opportunities. Wang Xiwei said that the current production capacity of crystal power is very tight, and the delivery volume of ACLED should not be too large. It is only after the first quarter that the market acceptance can be evaluated.

Wang Xiwei is a simple example. As long as the products that look like "bulbs" can be replaced by AC LEDs, basically, LED lighting products below 10 watts will be cheaper than DC LEDs. Wang Xiwei said that AC LED is 50% more expensive than DC LED. ACLED does not need to go through the power supply and can be used directly. The power supply accounts for 20% of the cost of DC LED products. Therefore, the terminal price is AC LED is cheaper than DCLED.

Wang Xiwei pointed out that the price of AC LED terminals is more expensive than tungsten bulbs and power-saving bulbs. However, compared with the power consumption of tungsten lamps, ACLEDs can be recycled for about one year using electricity. The price difference between LEDs and energy-saving bulbs is more than three times, and the recovery period of electricity charges is up to three years. Therefore, the initial ACLEDs are still unable to enter the lighting market in large quantities, but next year, with the support of government policies, the ACLED market can begin to take off. It is expected that in 2012, the global government will further phase out traditional lighting containing mercury, and LED lighting is expected to take off significantly.
