When you are still considering whether it will walk down the altar, Dharma is quietly nurturing the next big country.

With respect to Dajiang, many people only have one question left and when will they leave the altar.

If you see these youthful faces, you will certainly forget this problem.

In the deep badminton hall, hundreds of college students from different parts of the world get together and there are a variety of drones, robots, tools, and sundries on the ground. Drone competitions are taking place here. The host is Dajiang.

The drone competition named RoboMasters was not held for the first time. As early as 2013, it was attempted in the form of summer camps. It is a summer research activity that is tailored for science and technology students and robot lovers. Through the self-registration form, more than a hundred students from major universities and colleges are recruited to conduct one-month project training at the headquarters of Dajiang. They are coached and grouped by professors from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and industry industry elites. Finally, each group has its own research. The results are verified. Among them, outstanding members have the opportunity to enter DJI as R&D engineers or Hong Kong University of Science and Technology full scholarships. Since 2013, Dajiang has organized such summer camps every summer. The summer camp has successively set up challenging tasks such as “self-moving target shooting”, “mechanized wars” and “self-propelled flying bombs”. The competition has risen from the ground to the sky and has also raised higher technical requirements for the participating students.

Today is the day of the summer camp this year. More than a hundred top engineering students from universities such as Washington University, New York University, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Zhejiang University, Xi'an Jiaotong University and other famous universities at home and abroad compete on the same field, compete for understanding of machine vision technology, and challenge robots' automatic flight, automatic retrieval, and automatic Throwing technology. After a fierce competition, the summer camp No. 10 team won the championship and won the Grand Phantom 4 Drone award provided by Dajiang.

The game is played in a square field with a length of 8 meters on each side. Each round is 10 minutes long. The flying robots designed and developed by the teams themselves need to grab plush toys or golf balls from different areas and put them into specific baskets. The robot's different grabbing and throwing options will win different scores. In the case of plush toys, during the game, the basket will be refreshed regularly. Only the three-colored toys of red, yellow and blue will be thrown into the same color basket. Throwing will be recorded as full marks.

After take-off, drones' capture, flight, identification, and throwing operations are automatically controlled by the program. In the end, the No. 10 team formed by 11 college students from 8 universities, including Harbin Institute of Technology, Xi'an University of Electronic Technology, and Zhejiang University, scored 2006.4 points and led the runner-up to more than 200 points.

The RoboMasters summer camp has been held for four consecutive years. Whether or not those people in the past have entered Dajiang. Gao Jianrong, the person in charge of the RoboMasters event, told Lei Fengwang (searching for the "Lei Feng Net" public number) that the Dajiang Office summer camp was mainly designed to train these students as engineers. The future of these engineers would be left to them to choose, even if they did not enter. Dajiang, they will still contribute their own strength in this industry, the entire industry will also be more progress. Gao Jianrong revealed that the number of people who will eventually become engineers in Dajiang each year is in single digits, but this does not affect Dagan’s determination to hold summer camps.

In addition to the summer camp, the RoboMasters National University Student Robot Competition’s kick-off and challenge competitions were also held. The RoboMasters National Undergraduate Robot Competition has been successfully held in 2015. Unlike the summer camp, the robot task competition is different from the summer camp. The robot competition is a fierce battle robot competition. The analogy of the League of Legends is a team of various universities participating in the competition. The game period is also longer.

2015 RoboMasters National University Student Robot Competition Finals

RoboMasters can be said to be the personal feelings of Daqi’s founder Wang Hao. He was also a student of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology ten years ago. He is also a regular guest of robot competitions, and it is also the research results obtained in the robot competition that made him entrepreneurial. The idea succeeded at the same time, which also gave birth to the possibility that he wanted to make more people become engineers and enjoy the success. In his view, core talents with genuine insight, innovation, and truth-seeking spirit are the scarce resources in China. Last year's final of the RoboMasters National Undergraduate Robotics Competition, Wang Wei, who rarely took part in public events, watched and awarded the One Point Five for the championship Electronic Technology University. In his speech, Wang Hao expressed that he hopes to set up a league of college student intercollegiate athletic competitions to create exciting and highly appreciated robotic athletic competitions, thereby attracting a large number of young people to join in, and let them realize that engineers and inventors are also Can receive wide public attention.

There was no audience in this competition, and almost all participants participated. However, this does not affect their enthusiasm for participation. These people are becoming qualified engineers.
