LENZE product for lifting drive

LENZE product for lifting drive
The lifting drive can safely raise or lower the material to a specified location. Typical applications are as follows:
Cargo lifts, cranes and winches (draw winches)
Material access lifting device in warehouse
Material lifting station and manual hydraulic lifting platform truck, mostly used in automobile manufacturing
Manned elevators, escalators, stage machinery
Volleying device
Compared to horizontal movements, it is always necessary to maintain a large moment when lifting movements; energy is released when falling. The counterweight will reduce the fixed torque, such as a passenger lift. In this case, just like the motion drive, the motion torque is required during acceleration and braking. We use cables, chains, gear belts, gears or racks, etc. to transmit the torque generated during loading or lifting to the drive.
Improve the drive system solution
Lifting drives usually use geared motors and three-phase AC motors. Sometimes servo motors are also used. In order to safely stop the load at the specified position, the motor has a built-in braking function. The Lenze servo controller has a built-in brake logic function that ensures shock-free switching when braking force is applied and braking force is released.
The energy fed back into the drive when the material falls is converted into heat by the brake chopper and braking resistor. In the lifting process, it is usually sufficient to drive by the inverter. Servo control and servomotors with angle/velocity measuring devices, such as material access units, are only used where high dynamic response and high positioning accuracy are required.
Braking unit
We have built brake choppers in some of Lenze's inverters (such as 8200 vector inverter series, 8200 motec inverter series, L-force 9400 servo drive series). Other series products still need external braking unit . Lenze offers a variety of braking resistors for you to choose from. For situations requiring high loads or high efficiency (ie avoiding heat losses), the braking energy can be fed back into the power supply via energy regeneration modules such as the Lenze 9340 series.
