ASRock Becomes the Third Largest Motherboard Manufacturer in the World

Asustek shipped 21.6 million mainboards last year. Although it has not reached the set target of 25 million, it is still the boss of the motherboard industry. At the same time, the profits obtained on the motherboard are as high as NT$80 billion, which is approximately RMB 18.1 billion. Distinguished.

Gigabyte's motherboard score was 18 million last year, especially in mainland China. However, due to the Asustek price war, profits were lower than expected.

ASRock motherboards were initially positioned in the entry-level market, but in recent years they have continued to expand to the mid-to-high end. In mid-2010, the price of around 50 US dollars accounted for 75-80% of the total shipments. Although the overall price is still relatively low, the ASRock motherboard gross margin can still be maintained at more than 18-19%. In the fourth quarter of last year, ASRock motherboards shipped about 2 million pieces, which is expected to remain flat or slightly increase by 5% in the first quarter of this year.

MSI and Elite's annual motherboard shipments are all around 7 million, but their OEM orders are maintained at about 10 million, and the elite are still receiving HP's steady and continuous orders.

Second-tier manufacturers, Biostar's annual scale is about 5 million, Foxconn is basically out of the brand motherboard market, the main attack OEM and OEM.

Asustek, Gigabyte, and ASRock will each achieve a target of 22.7 million, 18-18,850,000, and 9 million in 2011, with an annual growth rate of 5%, 3%, and 12.5%. This also shows ASRock's confidence.
