BBVR has announced the opening of a new Virtual Reality (VR) Center in Canvey, UK, to provide citizens with a wide variety of VR gaming experiences, from racing to zombie shooting.
BBVR staff member Nichola Lewis said: "Our VR center is located in the heart of Canvey, and we focus on bringing virtual reality to the public."
“With the VR experience, users can drive any of the coveted events on any track in the world, or play fruit ninja to cut fruit, and use our VR gun to shoot zombies, giving users a far-away experience.†NicholaLewis added.
In fact, the significance of the establishment of this VR center is not only entertainment, but also a very positive social significance.
Canvey is an independent island on the north bank of the Thames Estuary in the United Kingdom. Due to its geographical location, the area is not rich in recreational life, so anti-social behaviour on the island occurs from time to time. Residents hope that VR Center can give local young people another choice of leisure and entertainment, so that they will not feel bored and engage in anti-social activities.
The center's VR devices are HTCVive and OculusRift, which are currently the world's leading high-end VR heads.
