With the technical advantages of Zhejiang University in the field of optical engineering, Zhejiang University Tricolor has been at the forefront of its peers in innovation and research and development, and has continuously introduced domestic leading optical inspection equipment; especially in the field of semiconductor lighting inspection technology and equipment, it is completely synchronized with the international. Zhejiang University has developed more than 10 kinds of photoelectric detection equipment for upstream and downstream of semiconductor lighting industry such as LED devices and lamps.

Since its inception, Zhejiang University Tricolor has paid great attention to the simultaneous development of technological innovation and industrialization, and has transformed the university's scientific research into innovative application products in a timely manner. It has been promoted to domestic and foreign markets and currently has innovative technology research and development centers and professional optical laboratories. Promote the development of industry standards

In recent years, in combination with the rapid development of semiconductor lighting technology and industry, Zhejiang University Tricolor Corporation has focused on research and development of LED testing equipment. In line with the standardization of LEDs, for the special problems in the optical and thermal performance testing of LED devices and modules, Zhejiang University Tricolor Company first developed a new LED metering integrating sphere with constant temperature control and transient spectrum radiation analyzer, LED junction Light and heat resistance integrated testing of photoelectric color heat analysis analyzer and other equipment to solve the LED performance test problems.

Reasonable matching of LED chips and phosphors is an important step in the manufacture of high-efficiency white LEDs. How to scientifically evaluate the performance of LED phosphors and provide a basis for the production of white LEDs is a key issue in the development of LED phosphor standards. Through the research on the optical measurement technology of phosphors, Zhejiang University Tricolor Co., Ltd. has solved the measurement method of quantum efficiency of phosphors. In the newly developed LED phosphor standard in China, the evaluation criteria of external quantum efficiency have been adopted, through the electronic technology in China. The standard compliance field test conducted by the 13th Institute of the group company was verified.

The impact of optical radiation on the human health of LED products has received increasing attention from the industry, and relevant international standards have been released. LED products currently sold to EU countries, optical radiation safety as a mandatory indicator incorporated into the requirements of CE certification. However, how to conduct accurate test evaluation has always been an international problem. Zhejiang University Tricolor has more than five years of research experience in optical radiation safety testing. It has proposed a new measurement method for LED evaluation of photochemical damage and thermal damage of human retina, and invented a retinal radiance meter. At the 2008 Photometric Chromatographic Experts Meeting in Italy, this innovation has attracted international attention. At present, Zhejiang University Tricolor Co., Ltd., as an optical testing laboratory in Asia, participates in the international LED light radiation safety test comparison test consisting of five countries including the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, China and Austria. As the only expert in China, Prof. Tong Tongsheng participated in the formulation of relevant international standards and was mainly responsible for the measurement methods of LED light radiation safety. At the same time, Zhejiang University Tricolor Co., Ltd., as the leader of the drafting group for LED light radiation safety standards in China, began to take the lead in formulating relevant standards.
