Mouser Electronics announced that it has begun to supply LUXEON 3535 2D mid-power LEDs from Philips Lumileds. This new product is packaged in a dual LED chip package of up to 140 lumens, halving the number of LEDs used in the fixture.
Philips Lumileds has expanded its LUXEON 3535 Mid-Power LED family to include LUXEON 3535 2D Mid-Power LED products. The LUXEON 3535 2D combines two LED chips in a single package to reduce the number and cost of LEDs in new, consumer, and industrial astigmatism fixtures.
Lighting designers can take advantage of high efficiency and high lumen packaging to dramatically reduce the number of wafers used in each fixture. This new Mid-Power LED provides a complete spectrum (2700K-6500K) across the relative color temperature with the lowest 80 CRI.
The LUXEON 3535 2D Series operates from 0.5 - 1W and delivers up to 130 lumens in a small 3535 form factor. The LUXEON 3535 2D is rated at 100mA and can be boosted up to 200mA. The LUXEON 3535 2D supports ENERGY STAR certification requirements, which can reach 25,000 hours of operation at 85 ° C and 150 mA.
