The high voltage windings are all copper, which is easy to handle. Because the high and low voltage windings are separate, there is no problem with the insulation, but it still needs to be shaken. The actual work is not as difficult as theoretically, and usually cannot be achieved. (The key is to get permission from the power supply department. Usually, the "electricity boss" is not allowed to be handled by other personnel.) I am a bit simple, but you can only do this in an emergency situation, or you can do so with confidence.
For oil-immersed power transformers, vacuum pumps are also required, and large transformers require cranes for lifting.
In addition to common common tools, the Wheatstone bridge for three-phase coil DC resistance balance test should be equipped to measure the high and low voltage megohmmeter for insulation. In the case of oil-immersed power transformers, prepare electric or manual oil pumps and clean covered oil containers.
Generally, the power transformer after maintenance should also be subjected to the withstand voltage test or oil quality physical analysis of the insulating oil. Therefore, a 500ML oil sample bottle which has been carefully cleaned and dried is prepared to prepare for the oil sample test. (The oil consumption is around 500ML)
If conditions permit, the repaired transformer should also be tested for overall power frequency withstand voltage and DC leakage.
