More and more LED industry chain upstream, middle and downstream enterprises have joined the development, design and production of indoor LED lamps, which has formed a huge enterprise group. China's superb LED lighting design, manufacturing technology and LED lighting products have excellent performance and price ratio, making it the world's LED lighting design and production base; China has the world's largest population, family, and rapidly improving housing in recent years. Conditions make it the world's largest lighting market.
LED light sources must be supplied with constant current for normal, healthy and long life. Therefore, providing a stable constant current power supply to the LED lamp bead is the key to the technical power of the LED drive power supply. The driving chip of the constant current power supply is the core technology of the LED driving power supply. LED lighting is an emerging technology. In the early days, because there was no dedicated LED lamp bead to drive the constant current power chip, only the switching power supply chip for switching power supply, charger, adapter, and the constant current circuit at the back end could be used. Reluctantly meet the needs of LED lighting fixtures that require constant current drive power. In recent years, integrated circuit manufacturers at home and abroad have paid attention to and researched constant-current source driver chips for LED lighting. At the same time, they have developed and produced constant-current source driver chips for LED lighting at the same time, and at the same time, LEDs with high integration and simple application circuits. Lighting-specific constant current source driver chips are introduced to the market.
Indoor lighting LED luminaires will be truly massive products. Since countries have a consensus on the technical indicators of LED lighting, there are requirements for compensation for power factors, and it is necessary to return a clean grid to the society. Therefore, indoor lighting LED lamps will use a simple application line with power factor compensation, primary side control (PSR) constant current source driver chip. Single-stage APFC+CC+PSR chips may be the first choice for indoor lighting fixtures.
There are many foreign chip manufacturers, but because of the profit, labor, logistics and other factors they need, their prices cannot fall to the price that Chinese LED manufacturers want. Only Chinese local chip companies can meet their requirements. The profit, labor, and logistics of local chip companies are lower than those of foreign companies. At present, the LED constant current source driver chip produced by the local chip design company is comparable in performance to international companies, and its price is very competitive, and it also has a certain price reduction space.
The fast and comprehensive application technology service of the local chip design company will be another magic weapon to win the market and service production. The integrated circuit design company's provision of complete application solutions for end users is a demand trend in the consumer electronics industry in the new era, and is also a shortcut to quickly promote new integrated circuit products. Therefore, it is very important and necessary to introduce a new generation of chips to LED luminaire manufacturers and to provide a practical model (DEMO) for production solutions.
