The most expensive 14,000: Intel SSD 710 enterprise solid state hard disk appeared in retail The SSD 710 series is Intel's next-generation high-end solid-state hard drive designed for the enterprise market, but it has already begun to see its presence in some retail markets. Of course, the price is certainly high.

The biggest feature of the SSD 710 series is the use of a 25nm new process MLC NAND multilayer flash memory chip, which is different from the previous generation X25-E series 50nm SLC NAND old process single-layer chip. In order to improve the durability of multi-layer flash memory, Intel has introduced so-called high-reliability technology (HET) with an error rate comparable to SLC and a much longer write life. 4/8 KB random writes can be up to 1.1/1.8 PB. 20% redundant capacity is up to 1.5/3.0PB.

The SSD 710 series is available in three capacity models: 100GB, 200GB, and 300GB. Product numbers SSDSA2BZ100G301, SSDSA2BZ200G301, and SSDSA2BZ300G301 are officially priced at US$649, US$1289, and US$1929. In the Akihabara market in Japan, these three new products have already begun to arrive one after another. The retail prices are respectively 56,800 yen, 114,800 yen, and 170,000 yen, or approximately 4,740 yuan, 9,570 yuan, and 14,100 yuan.
