The ADE7753 is the latest advanced digital watt-hour meter circuit from Analog Devices. This highly integrated IC offers precise measurement of active and apparent energy, along with a serial interface and pulse output. It includes second-order ΣΔ ADCs, a digital integrator (for channel 1), an internal reference voltage source, and a temperature sensor. These features enable accurate calculations of voltage, current RMS, active power, reactive power, and apparent energy (as shown in Figure 1).
