"Sin City" installs LED street lights that use solar energy and pedestrian footsteps to generate electricity

Urban street lighting is an indispensable public facility in people's daily lives. However, the power consumption of street lighting is also rising. Soon after, many of the sidewalks of "Sin City" will have streetlights developed by the company using solar energy and pedestrian footsteps.

EnGoPLANET focuses on using sustainable energy sources such as solar energy to provide solutions that save power to the infrastructure. EnGoPLANET said that their street lights at Boulder Plaza will not only use solar power to generate electricity, but also the footsteps of past pedestrians to keep these lights on all night. Each time a pedestrian steps on a pedal fitted to a street light, it can generate 7W of power, which is then automatically stored in the battery. Depending on the design, you can also choose 25-75W LED lamps of different power.

In addition, the street light is equipped with sensors that monitor information such as air quality, temperature, and humidity. At the same time, these street lights will also add free WiFi hotspot function and provide mobile phone charging.
