Recently, the reporter learned from the interview of Chaozhou Municipal Garden Bureau that in order to build a conservation-oriented society, as early as May 2006, Chaozhou City began to implement lighting energy-saving projects. In the first phase of the project, smart lighting energy-saving devices were installed in the power supply parts of the lighting and road lighting facilities in the urban riverside promenade, the expressway extension line, the Chaoshan Road, the Fengxi Square, etc. 35,000 degrees, the amount of electricity saved is more than 26,000 yuan, and the power saving rate is 23%. In January of this year, the main urban roads include Chaozhou Avenue, Fengchun Road, Baodi Road, Dongshan Road, Chaofeng Road, Hanjiang East Bank, Chunrong Road, Xirong Road, Luyi Road, Yonghe Road and Chengxin Road. The second phase of the project, such as Nanji Road, has also been implemented. The monthly power saving is about 73,000 degrees, the monthly electricity saving amount is more than 64,000 yuan, and the power saving rate is 30%. In this way, the two phases of the project can save 100,000 kWh per month and save about 90,000 yuan per month.
In terms of landscape lighting, in July this year, Chaozhou City replaced 400 sets of 250W ordinary landscape lamps used in the waterfront lighting of Binjiang Promenade with 125W high-efficiency electromagnetic energy-saving lamps, reducing electricity consumption by half, and saving electricity up to 50%, further saving energy, while greatly extending the service life of the lamps, reducing the financial expenses for lighting electricity, replacement lamps and maintenance.
In the entertainment venues, neon lights need to reduce electricity consumption. Some hotel hotels in our city still lack energy-saving awareness. The neon lights on the facade have been shining from dusk to late night.
