Both acquisitions are in line with Shellett's long-term strategic plan and are very important to make up for Shellett's previous shortcomings in the strategic positioning of the LED market.

According to the 2014 semi-annual report released by Shell, its LED revenue is 44.935 million, accounting for about 20% of the company's total revenue. From the perspective of the product line, Shelley is mainly engaged in indoor lighting, mainly in circulation channels. However, in recent years, as traditional lighting companies have transformed LED lighting companies, the competition in this market is becoming increasingly cruel.

In recent years, with the slogan of “Healthy LED Lighting”, Shelley has held investment promotion conferences in Fujian, Shandong, Sichuan, Guangdong, Beijing, Hebei, Yunnan and other places to attract dealers through low-cost strategies.

However, the brand influence of Snowlight in the distribution channel is difficult to compare with the traditional lighting companies such as Opt and NVC. The investment in investment is not as good as Yiguang Lighting and Mulinsen. The market expansion is rather rampant.

“In the past, we mainly used circulation channels. Now we also want to do outdoor lighting. This is why we acquired Fushun Optoelectronics.” Zhang Taohua said that in the future, Snow Wright will also hand over the development of outdoor lighting to Fushun Optoelectronics.

According to the reporter's understanding, car headlights can be roughly divided into front-loading market and post-loading market according to market segmentation. Interior lighting and daytime running lights are lower in technical content. The most difficult one is the headlights, and the natural gross profit is relatively high. However, the overall market penetration rate of the headlights is less than 5%. At present, only a few high-end brands such as Cadillac, Lexus, Audi, etc., which are newly launched models or models, are equipped with LED headlights. In the aftermarket, the owners of LED headlights are especially rare.

There are still hundreds of domestic car manufacturers, including more than 10 large manufacturers. The four large ones are Xiaoyan, Haila, Stanley and Valeo. All of them are foreign companies or joint ventures. At least half of the 10,000 cars are supplied by them.

The headlights are safety-grade parts of the car. The car manufacturer has very high quality requirements and a long design cycle. "There are many manufacturers involved in the aftermarket, but everyone is doing it according to different models. Any manufacturer can't form a system, and the whole vehicle's lamps are made, so the competition is not very intense." From the chip end, BYD has produced its own entire industrial chain, and the lights are not only directly supplied to the automotive sector but also sold to the aftermarket.

From the chip side, the current Chinese lamp market is almost completely covered by Philips, Osram, and Crystal. However, the two giants do not sell chips and only sell devices. Among them, Osram is a big one, it has the most extensive product line and cooperates with the world's top car manufacturers.

“The front-loading market has a relatively high gross profit, but it is limited by the limited sales volume of the model and the car itself. The market is not suitable for the aftermarket. Therefore, the company will focus on the future market, mainly with 4S shops, maintenance service shops, and auto beauty shops. Cooperation.” Zhang Taohua said when she talked about the positioning of Snowlight in the headlight market.

At the same time, he believes that although each car only needs 2-4 headlights, it is much more valuable than daytime running lights and decorative lights. In the future, Snow Wright will take a large-scale development path and create objective economic benefits for the company. Of course, Snow Wright did not give up the front loading market. The previous Xenon headlights have already cooperated with Geely, Chery and Jianghuai car manufacturers. It is now relatively easy to import the same channel.

When the reporter asked, after a series of mergers and acquisitions and capital increase measures in September, the annual LED sales of Snow Wright will increase significantly. Zhang Taohua said that the increase in LED sales in the second half is certain.
