According to the plan, the construction period of the first phase of LED project is 30 months. From July 2012 to December 2014, the designed production capacity is to produce 1.8 million pieces of LED epitaxial wafers and chips (equivalent to 2 pieces). At present, the company has formed about 2 million pieces/year of epitaxial wafers and chip production capacity (equivalent to 2 wafers), the capacity utilization rate is close to 100%, and the average sales gross margin of products from January to September is about 40%.
In addition, the company started the construction of LED epitaxial wafer and chip industrialization project (Phase II) in the second half of 2014. At present, the main structure of the plant has been basically completed.
