The construction of Zhejiang Qianjiang Tunnel Project will adopt LED lighting

The reporter learned from the Hangzhou Highway Administration of Zhejiang Province that at present, the Qianjiang Tunnel Project of Zhejiang Province is progressing steadily, and the entire Qianjiang Tunnel Project will adopt LED (semiconductor) lighting throughout the entire process. The LED lighting project of Qianjiang Tunnel Project was selected as the national semiconductor tunnel light application project as the only large-scale traffic flow underwater tunnel semiconductor lighting demonstration project.

The total length of the Qianjiang Tunnel is 4,450 meters. Two LED lamps will be installed in the West Line Tunnel and the East Line Tunnel. At present, one LED light installation on the west side of the Qianjiang Tunnel has been completed, and the LED lights on the other side of the West Line are also installed. It has completed 3,810 meters, accounting for 48% of the total amount of LED lighting installation in the tunnel, and it is in good condition.

According to reports, the quality requirements for LED lighting in Qianjiang Tunnel are very high. Since there are no technical specifications for high-power LED lighting for tunnels at home and abroad, the builders of the Qianjiang Tunnel Project have thought of a way to invite four domestic LED lighting manufacturers with high visibility, within 200 meters of the tunnel. Within six months, the 24-hour uninterrupted lighting comparison was carried out, and through 18 routine illumination tests, brightness tests, and comparison tests, the manufacturers with the best lighting effects were selected to ensure the quality of the tunnel lighting equipment.

According to reports, the LED lighting of Qianjiang Tunnel is more than 80% energy-saving than traditional light sources, and the service life can reach 50,000 hours to 100,000 hours, and it has no mercury, no radiation, no heat, and can be recycled, and the environmental protection effect is remarkable. According to estimates, by using LED lighting, it can save 2.47 million kWh per year and save electricity costs by 1.8 million yuan, which has significant economic benefits. At the same time, it can greatly reduce carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide and nitrogen dioxide emissions.
