In case of a power failure, the built-in battery can provide up to 10 hours of backup power at 8 W. This model includes overvoltage protection, EMI/RFI filtering, and alarm functions such as ONT reset and cold start. It is UL listed and available in models like MX1236-L2-C7 and MX1236-P-C7, with options for telemetry outputs and replacement batteries.
The MP1218-L1 series is a compact indoor UPS that provides continuous DC power and backup during outages. It supports AC input from 100 to 240 Vac and offers a 12 V / 1.5 A (18 W) DC output. The replaceable battery pack can supply up to 6 hours of backup power. It comes with various output cable options, including 7-cell 12 VDC with telemetry and 2-conductor bushing connectors. This model is also UL-certified and suitable for GPON equipment and similar applications. Replacement batteries, such as the MP18-L1, are available for easy maintenance.
Additionally, the MP1218-P series is a miniature indoor power supply designed for 12 VDC fiber optic network terminals. It is UL-listed and can be used in VoIP, FTTH, and video applications.
